Purpose:
The Pathway Ministry serves all members of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with
a focus on the new members and people seeking a church home. The Pathway Ministry guides
new members and perspective members into fellowship, discipleship, and spiritual
development through the pathway of church activities, service orientation, and Christian
education. New members along with others have the church history, and varied topics such as
What It Means to Be a Christian and strategies for discipleship in the 21 st century.
Goals:
- Provide New Members Classes for adults and youth
- Distribute age appropriate Bibles
- Supply new members with church handbooks, workbooks, Christian literature, and
other resources
- Maintain a New Members Bulletin Board
- Inform new members of service opportunities in ministry
- Offer the Discover Your Spiritual Gifts workshop
