Seniors Ministry
Purpose - The Senior Ministry is established in hope of enhancing the well-being of our seniors and to keep them active, involved and informed in life-long service. God has promised to give us the courage to face trials and the wisdom to live in circumstances according to His righteousness. Our strength comes from the Lord, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up," Galatians 6:9 NIV.
(Target Group: Age 55 and Up)
Meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 11am in the Fellowship Hall.
Mission - The Senior Ministry is guided by the needs and interest of our seniors.
We believe that God's love and comfort never changes and it remains with us
from the cradle to the grave. Therefore, "We know that all things work together
for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His
purpose," Romans 8:28. The Senior Ministry is designed to promote a healthy
aging program fro participants with meaningful activities to maintain healthy living. Seniors will also learn to accept God's peace and His divine plan for each life, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future, Then you will call upon men and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you," Jeremiah 29:11-12 NIV.
