In 2004, Pastor Charles A. Jackson was faithfully serving
as a Deacon at Lilly Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama,
until God had a higher calling on his life.  On March 21,
2004 Pastor Jackson transitioned from deacon to

down his eyes and was licensed to preach the Gospel of
Jesus Christ. In August of 2005 he was ordained by Dr.

Rev. Charles Jackson is the pastor of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Daphne, Alabama where he has humbly served for six years. Under his leadership, the church has witnessed the blessing of God in many areas. The church has seen graceful growth in membership and the maturing of the church body. The upstairs of the Education Building was completed within two years of his appointment and has acquired two and a half acres of property directly behind the church for the building of a family life center. A Children’s Nursery was started to take care of the children of the parents attending Sunday worship service.  In 2014, an eight o’ clock worship service was implemented, followed by breakfast. This has positively impacted the growth of the church and Sunday school attendance. Additionally, in 2014, the church sanctuary was remolded and new pews were installed in 2015. All of these accomplishments were under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and by the grace of God.
